"How many styles of kung fu are there?"
There are as many styles of kung fu as there are imaginative people out there who create them. How's that for an answer?
Oh, and if you talk to the monks, there is only one Shaolin gong fu. They recognize the existence of other styles, but they seem to be only concerned with just one.
