Usually mistakenly translated as “Big Red Boxing”, in reality, Hong family large form

 

This is considered to be an advanced form.

 

    * Stand straight looking at 12, one-handed bow.
    * Step left, hands at horse. Look left.
    * Look towards 12, bilateral palm strikes to 12 at shoulder level.
    * Twist counterclockwise to face 9, moving into xu bu, as you bring both palm strikes around towards 9, left forearm on top of right, then sink down into lower xu bu bringing both fists to horse.
    * Right palm comes out towards 9 to downward parry as left leg lunges towards 9 into gong bu with left palm up fingers strike toward 9; right palm moves to horse as a fist.
    * Right snap kick with downward right palm slap towards 9.
    * Left palm parries downward as you move towards 9 into gong bu with right leg, right palm up finger strike to 9.
    * High left crescent kick to 9, twisting body around to face 3, keeping left leg bent as block, right knife hand as block in front of chest; left leg then lands into gong bu, left forward, towards 3; right downward palm parry, left palm up finger strike to 3, right palm retreats to horse as fist.
    * Right snap kick to 3 with downward right palm slap; right leg then returns back to 9 to land in pu bu with left leg extended towards 3; both palms circle outside above head and then return inside, palm down, towards floor.
    * Stand up facing 3, feet together, hands in horse, right snap kick to 3 with downward right fist slap.
    * Left palm parries, lunge into gong bu towards 3 with right leg, right palm up finger strike to 3, left returns to fist in horse.
    * Return back to ma bu facing 12, circle both fists from outside to inside to end up behind you.
    * Turn towards 9 with both palms raking outwards as body moves into gong bu towards 9, keeping feet in original position. As you bring both arms back behind you, step and stomp with right foot, placing it next to left, then lunge towards 9 with left leg into gong bu. Bilateral palm strike towards 9.
    * Right palm withdraws to horse, then strikes towards 9, and returns. Left palm returns and strikes to 9, then right palm strikes towards 9.
    * Left upward palm then moves over top of right arm towards 3 as you look towards 3; then as you stand up feet together facing 12, right palm up sweeps up to over head, left chicken wrist swings down to behind you, keeping arm tightly against side.
    * Drop into ma bu as right knife hand sweeps clockwise down to in front of you, left knife hand comes across your chest to cross on top of right arm.
    * Turn into gong bu as left knife hand strikes to 9, right chicken wrist sweeps down behind you, keeping right arm tight at right side.
    * Return to ma bu with left knife hand crossed over top of right knife hand.
    * Slide left leg to be next to right into low crouch, with left chicken wrist dropping down to left side and behind, right palm up above head.
    * Slide left leg into ma bu facing 12 with right knife hand arm crossed over left knife hand arm.
    * Shift into gong bu towards 9 with left knife hand strike towards 9, right chicken wrist straight alongside body.
    * Return to ma bu with arms crossed and knife hands again, this time with right arm over left.
    * Shift into gong bu towards 3 with right knife hand strike towards 3, left chicken wrist straight alongside body.
    * Left hand becomes open palm next to chest; right open palm slowly sweeps vertically clockwise in front of you in a large circle. Left palm goes to right shoulder and stays. Right open hand sweeps to 9 and then above your head, as your right foot comes back to rest next to left, toes down, in a monkey position, with right palm towards 3 and left palm on right shoulder.
    * Step towards 3 with right with a stomp, then lunge into gong bu towards 3 with left leg; left open palm strikes towards 3, right chicken wrist lies straight and tight next to body.
    * Without moving feet, shift to gong bu towards 9, as right open palm moves across chest to rest under left shoulder, and left open palm strikes towards 9.
    * Move into monkey stance facing 12, right bent arm upright at head, left fist straight down next to body.
    * Lunge into gong bu towards 9 with left leg, with open palm downward block and left open palm strike towards 9, right fist returns to horse.
    * Right snap kick towards 9 with downward right open palm slap. End in ma bu facing 6 with bilateral upright forearm blocks.
    * Twist into gong bu xian shing, striking towards 9 and 12.
    * Circle arms counterclockwise as you shift into monkey stance, right arm down, left arm bent and up, facing 6.
    * Jump and twist into ma bu facing 12, with bilateral upright forearm blocks.
    * Twist into gong bu xian shing, striking towards 9 and 6.
    * Twist back into ma bu, with both upright palms, fingertips touching, resting in front of belly.
    * Twist towards 3 into gong bu, bring left upright palm over head, right upright palm on right thigh.
    * Bring left hand down to horse, right open palm sweeps out towards 3, then circles vertically clockwise as you shift your feet towards 9, slapping left open hand; do this twice; end with right upright palm above head, left upright palm next to right ankle, with left leg standing upright, and right leg bent with knee pointing towards 3.
    * Run towards 3, jumping up with both legs bent behind you, arms circle up and behind you; land, feet together in a low stance, right toes down, right punch to 3, left punch at right elbow.
    * Turn towards 12 into ma bu; ma bu shuang bien (punches to 3 and 9).
    * Right open palm up strikes to grab towards 9. withdraw into low monkey stance with right fist by head and left fist by ground.
    * Lunge into gong bu with left towards 9, with left open palm up strike towards 9 and right fist at horse.
    * Right crescent kick to 9 as you swing counterclockwise around to face 3; right knee up, right fist up with elbow bent, left fist at right elbow. Stomp right foot down to ground as right fist goes up and down.
    * Xiezi bai wei, turning only 180 degrees to face 9.
    * Lunge into gong bu towards 9 with left palm strike to 9, right chicken wrist at side.
    * Step back with left as you withdraw, then bluff strike to 9 with left; step back with both towards 3 with final strike with left towards 9.
    * Move into ma bu facing 12 with arms crossed, right on top of left, and open palms.
    * Strike out towards 3 as you shift into gong bu towards 3, with right open palm strike to 3, left chicken wrist straight at left side.
    * Left hand becomes open palm next to chest; right open palm slowly sweeps vertically clockwise in front of you in a large circle. Left palm goes to right shoulder and stays. Right open hand sweeps to 9 and then above your head, as your right foot comes back to rest next to left, toes down, in a monkey position, with right palm towards 3 and left palm on right shoulder.
    * Step towards 3 with right with a stomp, then lunge into gong bu towards 3 with left leg; left open palm strikes towards 3, right chicken wrist lies straight and tight next to body.
    * Without moving feet, shift to gong bu towards 9, as right open palm moves across chest to rest under left shoulder, and left open palm strikes towards 9.
    * Move into monkey stance facing 12, right bent arm upright at head, left fist straight down next to body.
    * Lunge into gong bu towards 9 with left leg, with open palm downward block and left open palm strike towards 9, right fist returns to horse.
    * Right snap kick towards 9 with downward right open palm slap; end in gong bu towards 9 with right open palm strike to 9, left chicken wrist straight at left side.
    * Return to ma bu facing 6, with arms crossed, left open palm on top of right.
    * Lunge into gong bu towards 3 with left open palm strike, right chicken wrist at side.
    * Return to ma bu facing 6, with arms crossed, right open palm on top of left.
    * Lunge into gong bu towards 9 with right open palm strike, left chicken wrist at side.
    * Left snap kick with left downward open palm slap towards 9. Left leg then steps behind right leg to retreat, end in ma bu facing 12, with arms crossed, left open palm on top of right.
    * Lunge into gong bu towards 9, left open palm strike to 9, right chicken wrist straight at right side.
    * Return to ma bu facing 12, arms crossed, right open palm on top of left.
    * Lunge into gong bu towards 3, right open palm strike to 3, left chicken wrist straight at left side.
    * Return to ma bu facing 12, arms crossed, left open palm on top of right.
    * Lunge into gong bu towards 9, left open palm strike to 9, right chicken wrist straight at side.
    * With right leg, kick towards 9 by scraping ground, right crescent kick to 9, then step down; left leg also steps down towards 3 into ma bu facing 6. Left fist at horse, right fist at right side.
    * Lunge into gong bu towards 3 without moving feet, bringing right fist in low in front of you; slap back of right fist against palm of left hand, which will be at your left.
    * Lunge back into gong bu towards 9, with right back fist towards 9, left fist at horse.
    * Circle right fist vertically clockwise in front of you as you move back into ding bu, feet towards 6, facing 9, with left fist at right elbow, and right fist, elbow bent, pointing at 9.
    * Twist clockwise as you withdraw both arms together, right fist still pointing towards 9, left fist at right shoulder, keeping feet where they were, until you face 9.
    * Right foot stomps down, left foot then steps towards 9 so that you are in ma bu facing 12, with both arms and fists horizontally in front of you, left fist at right shoulder, right fist pointing towards 9.
    * Lunge into gong bu towards 9 with right punch towards 9, left fist at right shoulder.
    * Return to ma bu facing 12 as you withdraw right punch, left open palm goes out to 9 to block.
    * Lunge into gong bu towards 9 with right punch towards 9, left open palm at right shoulder.
    * Return to ma bu facing 12 as you withdraw right punch, left open palm goes out to 9 to block.
    * Lunge into gong bu towards 9 with right punch towards 9, left open palm at right shoulder.
    * Return to ma bu facing 12 as you withdraw right punch, left open palm goes out to 9 to block.
    * Left withdraws to right as you stand up, facing 12, right open palm circles to above head, palm up, left chicken wrist straight down at left side.
    * Lower into ma bu facing 12, with arms crossed, left open palm above right.
    * Lunge into gong bu towards 9 striking out with left open palm to 9, right chicken wrist straight at right side.
    * Lunge into gong bu towards 3 with right fist circling vertically clockwise to back fist at 3, left fist at left side, left arm straight.
    * Keep that position, step once with both feet towards 9.
    * Circle right fist vertically clockwise in front of you, left fist moves to right shoulder, stop when right fist, right arm bent at elbow,  is at shoulder level, right side, left fist at right shoulder, all in ma bu facing 12, looking to right.
    * Look to left in ma bu facing 12 as you continue swing of right fist above head, left fist moves to point down at left thigh. Lower the ma bu stance. “Wheee”.
    * Stand up, circle both arms up over your head to end at either side and bow.
